How do Fibflx and Aritzia compare at a glance?
Aritzia is a large, Vancouver-founded retailer that sells several in-house labels, including Babaton and Wilfred. It is strong on fit engineering, certified sourcing and stores. Fibflx is a smaller natural-fiber label for women 35+, strong on 100%-natural compositions and heavier fabrics. Prices below are as of October 16, 2026.

Whose cashmere is better?
For certified, midweight cashmere at a fair price, Aritzia is hard to beat. The Essential Cashmere Relic Sweater costs $178, is 100% cashmere in the body (the rib trim is 94% cashmere, 5% polyamide and 1% elastane) and is "verified to The Good Cashmere Standard®." Bare Cashmere styles such as the Bloor and Cellini sweaters were listed at $148. Its Cashmere Mockneck Sweater ($178 regular) is fully fashioned and GCS-certified.
Fibflx is the pick if you want heavier, textured cashmere and are willing to pay more. Its brushed and chunky knits publish garment weights, such as 222 g and 440 g, and are 100% cashmere throughout. They also cost more. Among 91 in-stock Fibflx 100%-cashmere sweater listings that state composition in catalog data, the median price was $456. The Lightweight Cashmere Crew at $116 is the exception.

Watch the labels at both brands. At Aritzia, the trims contain a little elastane or polyamide. At Fibflx, the "Washable Cashmere-Silk" knits are only 36.8% cashmere, with 53% nylon and recycled polyester.
Which brand is better for blazers and work trousers?
Aritzia is better for wool suiting trousers. Fibflx is better for 100%-natural blazers. Aritzia's Babaton Milieu Wool Pant ($158) is cut from Italian-mill suiting, "96% responsibly sourced virgin wool" with 4% elastane, and has a 29" inseam on a size 4. Fibflx has no comparable 100% or near-100% wool suiting trouser. Its tailored option is a 60/40 wool-polyester blend.
For blazers it flips. Fibflx sells a 100% Wool Double-Breasted Jacket ($235), a 100% linen blazer ($275), an 80/20 wool-cashmere belted blazer ($388) and goatskin suede ($488). Aritzia's Enact Wool Blazer ($248) is 96% wool with 4% elastane, lined in 100% cupro, with shoulder pads and a back vent. The stretch adds comfort, and the construction details are more fully documented than on most Fibflx pages.
Aritzia's most-reviewed pant, The Effortless Pant™ – Crepette™, is 100% polyester Japanese crepe. Aritzia says it "basically never wrinkles," it is machine washable, and it has 1,854 reviews. If you want a natural fiber, its CruiseLinen™ version is 66% lyocell and 34% linen. Fibflx's equivalents are 100% linen ($145) and 100% ramie ($138). Both are natural, but they crease more.
How do the silk blouses compare?
Aritzia's Wilfred Delphine Silk Blouse is cheaper and machine washable: $148, 100% silk charmeuse, from 2 reviews. Fibflx silk costs more ($185–$245 for blouses) but states its momme, 19 to 30. That tells you the fabric weight and opacity before you buy. Fibflx's 30 MM Heavy Crepe Ruched V-Neck Blouse ($185) is the closest match on price. Most Fibflx silk recommends professional dry cleaning.
How do construction and sourcing compare?
Aritzia documents certification and fabric origin more clearly:
- Good Cashmere Standard® verification on cashmere.
- "Responsible Wool" labelling and Italian-mill fabric on Babaton wool.
- "Fully fashioned" knitting noted on Bare Cashmere.
- Product pages list "Imported".
Fibflx documents fiber detail more clearly on its natural pieces: garment weight in grams, silk momme, yarn origin ("Italian-Spun") and specifics such as seamless knitting and two-way zips. It does not state certification for cashmere or wool, or a country of manufacture, on the product pages we sampled. In a public Trustpilot reply, Fibflx says its collections are "studio-designed in New York" and ship from a US fulfillment center or international hubs.
Which brand fits better?
Aritzia offers more fit options. The Effortless Pant comes in Short, Regular (designed for 5'3"–5'7") and Tall, and in Cropped and Curve versions. The Essential Cashmere Relic Sweater runs 2XS–2XL, and its page says "customers say it fits true to size." The Milieu Wool Pant notes that it "fits slightly smaller." Fibflx mostly offers XS–L, one inseam per style, and "true to size" on nearly every page. Its reviews show that chunky and brushed cashmere runs large and some pants run short. Fibflx's advantage is personal: you can leave your usual size at checkout for a fit check before shipping (size chart), and many knit pages list three or four fit models with measurements. See the Fibflx reviews and sizing guide.
How do shipping and returns compare?
Aritzia's returns are easier. US returns are free when you are signed in. Refunds to the original payment go back within 14 days of the ship date, and merchandise credit is available within 30 days. Sale items under 50% off get credit only, and items at 50% or more off are final sale. Fibflx refunds within 14 days of delivery, gives store credit from days 15–30 and makes exchanges free, with $9 deducted for a US label. Luxury Atelier pieces are exchange-only.

FAQ
Is Aritzia cashmere good quality?
Aritzia's Essential Cashmere is 100% cashmere in the body and verified to The Good Cashmere Standard®, at $178 for the Relic Sweater on October 16, 2026. Trims contain small amounts of polyamide and elastane. Fibflx's brushed cashmere is heavier and pricier, with weights such as 222 g and 440 g published.
Is the Aritzia Effortless Pant natural fabric?
The original Crepette™ version is 100% polyester. The CruiseLinen™ version is 66% lyocell and 34% linen. Both are machine washable. For a 100% natural alternative, look for 100% linen or ramie trousers, which breathe well but crease more.
Does Aritzia or Fibflx have better sizes for women over 35?
Aritzia offers more sizes and lengths: 2XS–2XL knits, Short/Regular/Tall and Curve pants. Fibflx mostly offers XS–L but adds a personal fit check and multi-model fit notes. Neither brand designs specifically by age.
Which brand has better returns?
Aritzia: free US returns when signed in, with refunds within 14 days of shipping and credit within 30 days. Fibflx: refunds within 14 days of delivery, credit to 30 days and free exchanges, with a $9 label fee on US refunds.
Is Fibflx more expensive than Aritzia?
For cashmere, usually yes. Fibflx's median 100% cashmere sweater was $456, against Aritzia's $148–$178 core range. For blazers and silk the gap is smaller: a Fibflx 100% wool jacket costs $235 and Aritzia's wool-elastane blazer $248.
